I don't think I was using that funnel well enough.
(Edit: thinking about it again I might have seen them pick up Tool or Ammo before, but I really don't remember ever seeing one use them).
Actually, from what I've seen it seems like they'll only grab and use medpacks for some reason I've never seen one use or pick up a Tool or Ammo, at least, so I had Ammo on me. I don't know of any way to have bots pick up different things. Not ideal but its the best idea I have for non-humans.īots suck at clearing in endless alarms (or rather, knowing when its better to just make a break for it), that's a problem in R7C1 as well and the end of R7B3. Bots may not be able to follow you super closely as you go straight past enemies because they always stop to shoot, but they'll clear to catch up to you and revive ASAP. Its easier to turn, plant, and shoot than it is to kind of clear in the middle of a wave. As soon as last code is in, just start fucking running to extract. Otherwise they probably want light AR/Machine Gun to just be jacked on ammo and good waveclear. Weapon meta for bots I'm unsure but if you're not a crack shot with sniper (my aim is dogshit) give it to one of them and it might one-tap giants for you. Theres that bridge by the truck, I usually put 2 sentries in that truck bed facing the gap they flood thru, one on the floor. Id say one burst and one sniper each for bots? Dealers choice for you, Id take a sniper because it clears big enemies faster and hybrids are a pain, but you can kind of hold onto yours and not put it down until the spicier waves later/save on tool refill by not deploying yours until later. Open lockers on the way and try to remember where stuff is for restocking between waves when you're on the clock. Bot bio pings are god tier and turrets track pinged enemies better. You hold one, bots hold 2, one bot holds biotracker. Okay totally different level, bots might be able to hold this one (ill still always recommend friends / trying to make friends in the discord but yeah)īetween reactor waves, there's longer and longer pauses to pre-type codes and just make it so you can sprint out to resources and run back.
